When you connect Dally, ChatGPT and Claude each save a copy of Dally’s tools
and keep using that copy. Anything Dally adds later shows up when you refresh,
and refreshing is one press.
Do this when Dally says there’s a new version, or when ChatGPT or Claude can’t
do something you know Dally can.
ChatGPT
Open Settings → Plugins, select Dally, then scroll to Information
and select Refresh.
ChatGPT holds the tool list it read the day you connected, so the refresh is
what tells it Dally has changed.
ChatGPT renames this screen every so often. It has been Connectors, then
Apps, and on 2026-09-04 it’s Plugins. Whatever the screen is called,
Dally is in the list and Refresh sits beside Information.
Claude
Open Customize → Connectors, select Dally, then open the menu beside
Disconnect and choose Refresh tools list.
Claude pins the tool list to your connection, so it keeps the old one until you
refresh, however long it’s been.
After you refresh
Refreshing doesn’t sign you out, and Dally stays connected. Ask your next
question the way you always do.
